Do I need a bank account to take a loan?

Yes, you'll need a UK bank or building society account, registered in your name and to your current address.

The account must also accept Faster Payments. Check if your bank account accepts Faster Payments if you're not sure. This is the account that we'll pay your loan into and also take your monthly loan repayment from, by Direct Debit.
